Trait: Spirit (D) Conditional ability damage (Spirit Triggers) builds up Spirit charges. Lose all spirit charges after use, but each attack boosted by Shenlong’s Spirit triggers any trait (D) modifiers. The number of attacks bolstered is based on the amount of Spirit Charges stored at the time of use. Shenlong’s Spirit: Activate to empower Basic attacks. Inna’s Mantra: Halves effects from consuming Spirit, but boosts are echoed by allied heroes. Uliana’s Strategem: Halves damage dealt, but Spirit triggers are echoed by enemy heroes (it would be like a weaker version of tyrael’s Judgement but timing similar to blaze’s stun) Tempest Rush (TR): Short channel that then propels the hero forward and pushes all enemies out of the way. (bell has a lifespan till shatter, but monk aoe can lower the timer akin to anub’s cocoon) The shatter effect is a Spirit Trigger, but only generates 1 charge of spirit if an enemy hero is hit by the shatter. The bell is a object without collision and can be shattered to deal damage again. Wave of Light (WoL): Drops a bell of light in front of the Hero. The aoe has a targeted point for Spirit Triggers (think apex targeting like Zul’jin) Lash Tail Kick (LTK): Deals ability damage in a ring around the hero. However, to offset concerns of balance, this hero is projected to be a Support class, so their raw number potential is offset by the utility they provide: their numbers should be inferior to dps, healers and tanks at their respective roles, but function as a conditional hybrid between those. (or Rather, there’s easier ways to realize something simpler than what I propose) –admittedly, the extent of this concept is based on the ambitious potential of the talent system (heralding from the aspirations of Varian and Zarya) and is probably too needlessly complex for HoTS now and likely isn’t worth the design space and balance concerns. The core of this idea is to be a contrast to kharazim to provide a unique design, silhouette, and playstyle from what is already in Heroes of the Storm. That’s basically the backstory of Ulliana but this wouldn’t necessarily be a suggestion for Ulliana as this is a diabo/staff hero (not fisticuffs) and she could be using an alias in the Nexus instead of their given name to try to curtail their exile/banishment/etc from Sahptev. Since Kharazim is a stalwart monk of Ivgorod, the female counterpart in the Nexus could be an exiled monk that dons a mask, wears armor and uses weapons in their own conviction to act against the balance professed by the will of the Patriarchs.

Diablo 3 male or female monk
